Haleigh Albright Featured in Times-News

BURLINGTON, N.C. – National Agents Alliance President and Chief Executive Officer Andy Albright and his wife Jane are proud to share the news that their daughter Haleigh Albright is featured in today’s edition of The Burlington Times-News.

The article announced the news that Albright, a talented artist and junior at Western Alamance High School, had her artwork selected from a number of submissions to be the cover of the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center’s inaugural Thanksgiving card.

The card will be sent to roughly 17,000 supporters of the Coy C. Carpenter Society at WFBMC, according to Jan Knox, development officer with the Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Every person who has donated money to education, patient care and research at the Winston-Salem medical center will receive the card, meaning the card will likely wind up on refrigerators and mantles in thousands of homes across the United States this Thanksgiving.

Albright has drawn her family’s Christmas card for the past 11 years, but she’s never reached an audience this large.

“This is going to 17,000 people who are going to know that I can draw now,” Albright said. “I’m also excited it’s going to people who support cancer research.”

The Times-News article included a picture of Miss Albright with her artwork, Knox and her parents posing for a picture in front of the National Agents Alliance headquarters in Burlington, N.C.

“We are so happy for Haleigh because thousands of people will get to find out what we already knew,” Andy Albright said. “She hit a home run with her drawing of a wagon filled with pumpkins and we could not be more proud of her. People will see this card and smile. It’s incredible what Haleigh created with her artistic talent. We know that when people see this card, it will bring smiles to their faces and it will make them want to give more to the fight against cancer, which is important to our family and the National Agents Alliance team. We’ve know so many people that have been affected by cancer and we hope Haleigh’s work will further the fight against cancer.”
