National Agents Alliance hits $75,000 mark in Good Samaritan Bonus donations in July

BURLINGTON, N.C. – National Agents Alliance has donated $75,000 to charities and non-profit organizations through its Good Samaritan Bonus program, which started in 2013, the company announced on August 14.

To date, NAA has supported 40 different charities and seven GSB checks were earned by agents in the month of July – the second highest month since the all-time 26 earned in December of 2013. In 2014, six agents have won two or more GSB checks for their respective charities, and $30,000 has been donated this year.

The company is on pace to donate more than $50,000 through the GSB program based on current projections in 2014. The Alliance donated $45,000 in GSB checks in 2013 on behalf of its agents to various charities and organizations across the United States this year.

NAA President and CEO Andy Albright said he was impressed with the list of charities and organizations the company had helped through the GSB program.

“When you look at the list of names, you start to realize we are making a difference,” Albright said. “A lot of these charities help people around the world and the number of lives we are impacting is amazing.”

The Alliance has supported organizations like Boys & Girls Club, Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warriors Project, Duke Children’s Hospital, Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, Big Brothers, Primary Children’s Hospital, Alzheimer’s Association and the JDRF Foundation. Additionally, agents have selected local churches and community programs that might not be known on a large scale but that make a major impact in the cities and towns where members of The Alliance live.

“We don’t care if the cause is big or small because every person helped matters to us,” Albright said. “We want to prosper and help inspire others to do the same. When you can help a charity it is inspiring. The GSB is a way to reward our agents for working hard to be successful. I hope all our agents are thinking about what charity they are going to help next because we plan to give out many more checks this year.”

The Good Samaritan Bonus is an incentive program for NAA agents to select their favorite charity to donate money to in an effort to further their cause. Each GSB represents a $1,000 donation and agents can earn up to $7,000 in bonus checks annually. Agents can earn bonus checks by hitting goals of $30,000 for three straight months, $20,000 for six straight months or $10,000 for 12 consecutive months in personal production.
